About Ljubljana and Bled
Ljubljana is a small, green and car-free capital on the Ljubljanica river, crowned by a hilltop castle and full of bridges designed by the architect Jože Plečnik.
Lake Bled, at the foot of the Julian Alps, is Slovenia’s postcard: a church on a tiny island, a castle on a cliff and the traditional pletna boats that row visitors across the lake.
