About the Zagreb – Sarajevo route

The usual route follows the A3 motorway east to Slavonski Brod, crosses into Bosnia and Herzegovina and continues on the A1 motorway via Zenica to Sarajevo. Travel time is about five hours, depending on the border.

This is an external EU border, so passports or ID cards are checked. We plan the trip around waiting times and can add stops in Jajce, Travnik or Mostar on request.

Worth a stop on the way

  • Slavonski Brod – fortress on the Sava
  • Jajce – waterfall in the town centre (detour)
  • Travnik – Ottoman old town (detour)

Write the stops you would like in the booking form – we plan the route and confirm the final price.

What’s included

  • Door-to-door pick-up at your hotel, apartment, airport or any address
  • Professional, English-speaking driver
  • Fuel, motorway tolls and parking
  • Free waiting time and flight monitoring for airport pick-ups
  • Bottled water, phone chargers and child seats on request
  • Fixed price per vehicle – not per person
