About the Zagreb – Krk route
The route follows the A6 motorway from Zagreb to Rijeka and the coast road to the Krk Bridge, which connects the island to the mainland. Krk is one of the largest Croatian islands and its towns are spread out, so a direct transfer saves a lot of time compared with buses and local connections.
Rijeka Airport (RJK) is located on Krk itself, near Omišalj – handy for flights in summer. From Valbiska on the west coast, car ferries run to the island of Cres and on to Lošinj; we can take you to the ferry or arrange the whole journey.
